Description
This is a recording of a training given to the SAPC Network to review a new guarantor/funding source, Client Ineligible for Federal Programs (CIFP). The funding is specifically for clients within Los Angeles County in need of SUD treatment, who are no longer eligible for Medi-Cal benefits due to federal policies, including immigration status. This training provides an overview of the program, the requirements and criteria for a client to be eligible for this guarantor. The training provides instruction for how to configure the Financial Eligibility in Sage to avoid billing denials and the SAPC monitoring plan to ensure proper use of this program.

- How to enter CIFP on the CalOMS Admission and Financial Eligibility forms in Sage-PCNX.
