Description
This training will focus on the risks and potential harms associated with alcohol use, including legal ramifications. This training will also touch on advertising that targets youth, trends that have been seen in homes and schools (DEA Hidden in Plain Sight), local data trends that show age of use and community impact, as well as what community partners can do to help their youth. There are also resources at the end of the presentation that we suggest taking note.

Intended Audience
This training is appropriate for administrative and support staff in agencies that provide substance use, behavioral health, and other social services, as well as the following disciplines within the SAPC Provider Network:
- Substance Use Prevention Specialists
- Registered and Certified Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselors
- LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs & Licensed Eligible (LE) AMFTs, ACSWs, APCCs
- Psychologists & Registered Psychological Associates

Format
This online course is administered through Power Point.
Process
Participants will self-navigate through the training Power Point. At the end of the training, participants will complete an evaluation form and must obtain at least 80% as a passing score for the completion of this training. Certificate of Attendance will be available for download upon completion.
