Description
This training will review the best practices and SAPC’s recommended workflow for establishing LA County DMC benefits for patients who have active Medi-Cal benefits that are assigned to a county other than Los Angeles, or Inter-County Transfer patients. While ICT patients are small number of patients admitted to the overall SAPC network, they often require significant time and effort to establish eligibility. During this training, providers will better understand the ICT process and learn ways to minimize issues, which will help reduce the overall burden related to managing the ICT process and increase service availability.
Additionally, this training will provide a description and general instructions for the New Medi-Cal Provider Portal
